It's midterms week and its been just very blah.
I haven't posted anything in a while due to all the studying going on.
I really need to post something on my Sam Edelman wedges, since I have had them for about a month now!
I'm still loving the long hair looks, although my mom has tried to convince me not to grow it out. "It looks so cute short" heh well now it is a grown-out version of my "cute" haircut and it's turning into quite the shaggy look. I don't know how much longer I'll be able to stand that bit, so i feel a trim coming on. I love this long braid though!

Right now I'm feeling like some nice eggs on toast with maybe a milkshake too. yummm
This weekend I was rifling through the fabric in our attic and came across some navy floral material. I decided to make a dress out of it! It turned out very nicely although The skirt part hangs a little awkwardly I think because I didn't gather evenly. My Inspiration was from these two sen dresses Taylor Swift is wearing. Hers are so cute!

I've decided I'm growing my hair out

I love that long beachy mermaid hair, it's so fun and playful. I like my short hair, but I think I've had it long enough. Growing it out is going to be a long series of awkward phases, but I bought hello kitty hair clips today so hopefully that will help me get through it! The thing is, I like my hair short, and I like it long, but not so much in the middle. Also hopefully I will not get angsty and chop all my hair off ruining all that growing work! Here are some pictures of what I'm going for that inspired me. I'm also thinking of bleaching it, and maybe adding colored, washed out streaks (like a mermaid!).

Camera spilling

Red Vintage slouchy shirt, I love it and wear it all the time, but unfortunately dropped my mascara on it and stained it. :( I wear it anyway. H&M leggings.

Picture I took in my room, with a quite nice dark/light effect. It's like the angel/devil on your shoulders.

New Sam Edelman Wedges! I was so excited when I got them that I got sick. They make me so tall and i wore them to school, it was so fun!

More pictures of me in my room, some of these I thought were quite fun! most of these are just camera emptying from the holidays. I'm wearing: Marc Jacobs cardigan, Eileen Fisher tunic, and man on the moon earrings!

Seascape Pants

I was vintaging around and found these amazing Cavalli jeans with a seascape painted on them! They were a little bit of awkward straight leg that made it look like bell bottomsish so i just sewed the bottoms of them a bit to make them nice skinnies! I really like the way it worked and of course how crazy they are! Soo fun to wear these to school.
Worn with Cropped shirt that I cut, Urban Outfitters cardigan, Key necklace, moon-face earings, and vintage old man oxfords.

I apologize for not posting much frequently, I've been rather busy with finals and summer preparations! I'm off to Camp tomorrow for a month, so, sadly, not much blogging until i get back. I finished my thrift sewing, i posted the dress already, but I need to post pictures of the others, but I just finished packing almost all of my clothes into a newly painted trunk. It took a lot of effort to get it closed, and it now weighs a ton, so I'm hesitant to open it. Guess those pictures will have to wait! I do have pictures of the trunk, not too interesting, but it was fun painting it!

Graduation outfit!

My Brother's graduation, this is the romper from my thrift shopping that I made into a dress! I wore it with summery heels and a red duct tape clutch i made. I love dressing up and took this opportunity to have a little fun. The ceremony turned out to be not too boring because many people wore interesting shoes avec their gowns. However, if it had been much longer, I might have turned quite a bit antsy. Pictured here are my brother and sister, the family pictures ensued after me taking outfit pictures, but my brother didn't want to put his gown on for some reason...
